Fear Free for New & Early Career Vets

More and more veterinarians are becoming Fear Free certified during vet school, graduating with the knowledge of how to care for the emotional health of their patients. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the benefits and challenges experienced by Fear Free early career veterinarians, cover ways to implement Fear Free within the practice and provide tips on communicating to facilitate Fear Free among the veterinary team and clients.

Meet Your Teacher

Mentor (she/her) Julie Liu, DVM

Dr. Julie Liu is a general practice relief vet, speaker, and freelancer based in Austin, TX. She’s the Vice President of the Relief Veterinary Medical Association and has been a frequent contributor to Fear Free, which includes serving on the Fear Free Speakers Bureau. She also volunteers for the AAFP on the Cat Friendly Practice committee. Professionally, Dr. Liu’s passions are advocating for the emotional health of pets, all things feline, and mentoring fellow veterinary professionals. In her free time she enjoys travel and backyard birding.
