FAQ

  • How is Ready, Vet, Go Different From Other Programs?

While many programs primarily address burnout prevention, Ready, Vet, Go adopts more comprehensive, skills-based methods to ensure veterinarians flourish and become lifelong learners. Our approach is threefold: Firstly, we concentrate on the individual veterinarian, enhancing their communication skills, addressing professional stressors, and promoting leadership skills. Secondly, we tackle the veterinarian's role within the clinic, addressing time management, aiming to reduce turnover and boost productivity. Lastly, we help veterinarians understand their role within the profession and also the broader community, connecting them to patients and their families. This contributes to long term success and career satisfaction.

  • What is the difference between the Ready, Vet, Go Mentorship program and Ready, Vet, Go Mentorship Lite?

Both programs include seven (7) Monthly Vet's Success Workshops, a mentee skills training, six (6) self-paced online learning modules and membership in the RVG Community. In addition, the RVG Mentorship Program includes twelve (12) Pack Meetings. These are mentor-led small group virtual meetings, held twice a month. The Lite version does not include these meetings. In surveys, mentees who participate in the RVG Mentorship Program report that the Pack Meetings are one of their favorite parts of the program. Relationships formed during these intimate meetings often last well beyond the duration of the formal mentorship program.

  • What is a Pack Meeting?

Pack Meetings offer intimate, mentor-led workshops in small groups of 3-4 peers, providing a safe space to delve deeply into various topics, ensuring individualized support, confidence-building, and unparalleled growth.

  • Who Are the Mentors?

Our mentors are leaders in the field of veterinary medicine. They are passionate about mentorship, have at least 10 years of clinical experience, and have held leadership roles such as practice owners or medical directors.
